Inotive Solutions b.v is creating a connected Internet platform where members monitor their weight and general health parameters and are able to follow progress. The first step towards this ultimate goal is our Youw8 Body Monitor, a wireless personal scale which measures all kinds of body parameters and transmits this information wireless and fully secure to a personal health dashboard on the Youw8 website.

The body monitor sends the

data via a small receiver box,

connected to modem/router,

to the Youw8 website. There

every user of the scale

will have a personal page

with all detailed information.

Behind every widget there

is a world of details. The

user will be presented with

colourful graphs showing

trends and overviews. A

goal overlay shows the actual

trend and the planned weight

loss plan.

Furthermore a Buddy system

gives the user the possibility

to connect to other users in

the Youw8 community

in order to motivate each

other. With an easy ‘traffic

light’ system the status of the

buddy can be checked

immediately.

A interactive Google Map

shows a detailed overview

of all users of the system. The

map is centred around the

user. With coloured stars other

users in the neighbourhood

are shown. With a mouse

click information becomes

visible and with an other

click that user can be

invited to become a buddy.

On February 2010 an iPhone

application was launched and

made available to all

iTunes stores (the application

is currently English only).

With this the user can follow

progress on his/her iPhone.
